Security Chief- Madison,NE

Management Level M1

This position is responsible for managing supervising full-time and part-time security officers responsible for 24/7 security operations. This person will develop coordinate implement company security policies and procedures as well as ensure all initial annual training for security personnel is conducted and recorded. Position will also be responsible for establishing maintaining 24 hour security manning schedule coordinate security actions and procedures with other department managers as required and assist in conducting internal investigations.

Successful candidate will coordinate with local state law enforcement agencies and emergency services as required. May be required to perform day-to-day security duties in the absence of adequate security force manning; as well as manage supervise all security administrative functions. Other duties responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required

Experience:

5 years security law enforcement experience preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred but not required

Computer

Skills:

Must be computer literate. Prefer experience with word processing software such as Microsoft Word spreadsheet applications such as Excel.

Communication

Skills:

Effective verbal written communication skills required. This includes a thorough knowledge of business English spelling grammar.

Other Requirements:
Must be able to work both independently under supervision and have a positive work ethic attitude.

Internal Requirements:
Cannot have 6 attendance points or more. Cannot have suspension in the last 12 months.
