We're seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on a variety of agricultural and feedlot equipment. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring the reliability, performance and safety of our machinery from feed trucks and tractors to loaders and skid steers.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines used in feed trucks, tractors, loaders and other farm equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, cooling and fuel systems
Perform engine overhauls, brake repairs and transmission service
Maintain and service small engines, generators and 4-wheelers
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve performance issues
Weld and fabricate components for repairs or modifications (MIG, TIG, stick, or gas)
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Respond to field service calls and perform on-site repairs
Keep a clean and safe work environment
Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or agricultural mechanic
Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems
Experience using diagnostic and repair tools
Welding and fabrication skills preferred
Ability to read service manuals and schematics
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license required (CDL or ASE Certification a plus)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
