Heavy Equipment Technician – Civil Construction Fleet | $30–$45/hr | Full Benefits | Exeter, NEAn industry-leading, locally owned heavy civil construction company specializing in underground infrastructure and directional drilling is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians to join its maintenance team in Exeter, NE.This is a stable, full-time opportunity working on a specialized fleet of heavy equipment and support trucks used in underground utility installation, boring, and tunneling operations.
This is not a standard trucking or general repair role — the work involves unique, high-demand civil construction equipment and systems.
Job Requirements 3+ years of heavy equipment repair experience
Strong experience with preventative maintenance, chassis systems, electrical, hydraulics, and fuel systems
Solid understanding of diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment repair
Experience with OEM diagnostic software
Aftertreatment/emissions systems experience (DPF, DEF, SCR)
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Must have own tools
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
What You’ll Be Working OnHeavy equipment used in underground utility installation and horizontal drilling operations
Specialized civil construction machinery and support equipment
Diesel-powered trucks and field equipment supporting infrastructure projects
Hydraulic and electrical systems in high-use, high-demand equipment environments
Preventative maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime on active job sites
What We Offer $30.00 – $45.00/hour depending on experience

Schedule
Day
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
