Join Our Life-Saving Team in Cedar Creek, TX and take advantage of a sign-on bonus up to $15,000! Are you an experienced aircraft mechanic looking to make a difference? PHI Health is seeking an A&P licensed mechanic with 2+ years as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic to work on our helicopters.

Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate daily maintenance or inspection requirements and carry out tasks to maintain the airworthiness of the aircraft.
  • Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations requiring schedule changes, aircraft changes, extra manpower or technical assistance.
  • At field bases, maintain all assigned aircraft, review stock levels and requisition spares as required for repairs.
  • Ensure the safety and security of company assets at field base.
  • Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories, and personally certify on aircraft logs and related inspection and maintenance forms that work complies with FAA, manufacturer, and PHI Health requirements.
  • Comply with RAMCO entries (work packages, status sheets, removals, installs).
  • Maintain communication with Lead Mechanic and AMBS and other agents to ensure effective and timely job completion.
  • Maintain parts inventory and recommend level changes when necessary.
  • Maintain company-provided special tools and ensure calibration is performed as scheduled.
  • Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Must have a High School diploma.

Must hold an FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant endorsements.

Must have at least 2 years of maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic.

Must possess basic communications skills and computer proficiency.

Must pass mandatory physical, drug screening, and background check.

Must travel frequently and work night shifts as required.

Schedule and Location

Mandatory 14+14 shifts; must reside within one hour drive or 60 miles of mandatory field locations.
