As a Facility Maintenance Technician you will play a vital role in assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the park’s buildings, facilities, and infrastructure. Job Duties- Assign and direct the work of maintenance staff to ensure work progress and quality.
- Perform carpentry, plumbing, heating/air conditioning, and electrical work in the maintenance of cabins, park facilities and building structures.
- Maintain the park's major utility systems which includes a freshwater system and water tower, secondary electrical feeds, and wastewater treatment system.
- Assist with maintenance program for spray park.
- Maintain park roads and sidewalks; sand, remove ice and snow with plow or shovel as necessary.
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and repairs for equipment, systems, and machinery.
- Clean, maintain and repair all tools and equipment used in the performance of assigned tasks.

Minimum Qualifications
No specific education, training, or experience is required for entry to this class.

:
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a driver’s license.
- Knowledge of methods, practices, tools, and equipment used in building trades, maintenance, and repair work.
- Ability to perform work in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical trades and determine the materials and equipment necessary to repair building structures, equipment, and fixtures.
- Lift and move objects weighing more than 50 pounds.
- Work with hazardous chemicals/compounds i.e., chlorine and various acids.
- Work in wet and dirty environments fixing water lines, sewer pumps, etc.
- Work in cramped spaces above and below ground level.
- Must be available to work any scheduled shift, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate park guests and operational needs, and be available to work during emergency situations.
- Ability to lead seasonal maintenance staff in performing similar duties.
