As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
- Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

- FLS PM's – Fire life safety
- Overhead lights
- Minor plumbing
- Light carpentry
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Mechanical experience, specifically overhead doors
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills
- Basic phone app skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information
- 480 volt experience
- Food safety experience
- Hydraulic experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required
- Trade school preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered
- 1–2 years of job-related experience (or equivalent combination of experience and education in lieu of a diploma)
Physical Requirements
- 500,000 sq. feet of production space and warehouse
- Candidate will need to be comfortable working from heights — scissor lift / forklifts
- Client-facing role
- Some independent work; some work as a team based on safety requirements
- Must be able to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs each day
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
- Overtime expected
- Background check package: CBRE Safety Specific, with drug screen required
- Interview process: 1 round in-person with hiring manager, including a site tour
