Incineration Technician – Rotary Kiln

We Build with Passion - Clean Harbors Kimball, NE Incineration unit is seeking an Incineration Technician – Rotary Kiln. The role involves hands‑on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, forklift offloading, and operation of the incinerator with clamshell device. Wage $26.50 per hour DOE, paid weekly, rotating 4–12 hour shifts (6 a.m.–6 p.m./6 p.m.–6 a.m.). Updated resume including most recent employer is required for consideration.

• Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Understand Clean Compliance Standard.
• Perform basic operations including drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading in compliance with DOT segregation requirements, filter press operations, and proper inventory warehousing.
• Operate a forklift when necessary; perform and document daily safety check prior to operating.
• Complete and submit all associated paperwork for waste tracking movements; use scanning application for dumping and pumping.
• Ensure that work meets all applicable health and safety standard operating procedures.
• Review all applicable SOPs and satisfactorily complete quizzes.
• Ensure understanding and ownership of area‑specific permit required compliance standards.
• Meet or exceed production goals.
• Maintain a clean work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift operation certification.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• DOT training.
• Proficiency in Windows‑based applications.
• Ability to climb on and off forklifts.
• Capability to perform multiple tasks.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climb up and down vertical ladders.
• Reach over and down with force.
• 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected; depth perception is critical.
• Physical fitness: 10 push‑ups, deep knee squats, sit‑ups—or as determined.
• Good hand‑eye coordination.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Punctuality and attendance required.
• Respirator fit test upon hire; clean shaven face required.
• Background check, drug screen, and physical examination required.
• Updated resume required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship of employment visas.
