Field Inspector Seasonal Full-Time | Waco, NE | $21/hour

We are seeking dependable and detail‑oriented individuals to join a seed production team in Waco, NE. Field Inspectors will collect and record quality data using a company‑issued iPhone while scouting fields for silk percentage and pollen counts. This position involves daily travel to various field locations, walking several miles each day across different terrain and assisting with a variety of seed production activities.

• Scout fields and collect quality data using handheld technology
• Monitor silk percentage and pollen counts
• Travel to assigned field locations throughout the day
• Assist with seed production, processing and packaging activities
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
• Support planting, pollinating, harvesting and other outdoor operations
• Help maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse activities as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and standard operating practices
• Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting when needed

• Ability to walk long distances and work outdoors in varying conditions
• Comfortable working extended hours during peak season when needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Dependable transportation to report daily to the Waco site
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Mechanical aptitude or equipment maintenance experience is a plus

• Mileage paid from the Waco site to assigned fields
