Concrete Finisher

JOB SUMMARY

Construct built-in-place or prefabricated wooden or steel forms for box culverts and other misc. structures. Experience looking at plans.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Place and finish concrete roads, driveways, median, sidewalks, curbs, bridge decks and other concrete structures.
• Level and screed concrete
• Grouting and repairing concrete
• Achieving different concrete finished
• Using hand and power tools
• Help setup concrete pours (final grade adjustment and form setting)
• Physical work is expected as a concrete finisher and assist the crews as necessary
• Abide by all company regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Educational requirements:
  
  High school/ GED and minimum 2 years of related work experience
• Job is physically intense and requires, Bending, Kneeling, Stooping, Crouching, Twisting, Standing, and carrying over 50lbs
• Ability to effectively work with all levels of personnel and management.
• Self-motivated and able to work productively with minimal supervision.
• Must have a valid Nebraska driver’s license.
• Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule
