Production Construction - Floor Decking Layout
Layout, mark, cut and install floor board & decking lengths and cut holes needed for each floor unit in accordance with required specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set floor on rolling dollys using hoists.
- Install fiberglass insulation on rim joists.
- Frame in 2x3's for stairwell and crawlspace
- Cross measure for square
- Install string line to meet required alignment.
- Layout, mark, and cut OSB boards to lengths before measuring and cutting holes for plumbing.
- Glue floor joists and install OSB boards using a nail gun and other air powered tools.
- Router off last row of stairwells.
Education:
- High School Diploma, or GED, preferred.
