Responsibilities
- Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties; effect repairs and adjustments as needed.
- Install, repair, rebuild, and otherwise maintain facility equipment.
- Perform minor fabrication of parts using mills, lathes, grinders, etc.
- Support manufacturing processes and complete all required paperwork, quality records, and documents.
- Perform competent electrical construction of conduit runs, wire pulls, terminations, and component installations.
- Maintain PLCs, CNC control circuits, and primary power.
- Comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
- 1–3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or equivalent.
- Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical operations; knowledge of 480V three‑phase control power, AC and DC circuits, motor starters, and switch‑gear repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, proficiency in shop mathematics and blueprint reading.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and high work areas; must be able to lift 50lbs.; must frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, stretch, and use fingers and hands.
- Knowledge of gas‑fired burners and boilers.
- Proficiency with heat/temperature controls.
- Ability to operate scissor lift, boom lift, and forklift.
- Associate’s technical degree or equivalent.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and be self‑sufficient.
Friday–Sunday, 5:00am–5:30pm. Must be able to work any shift. Some work may be outside, including on rooftops. Required to wear NFp7e Arc Flash uniforms provided by Copeland. Tools are provided by the company.
