Looking for a rewarding way to make a difference this summer? Cross Country Education is seeking a passionate Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide critical communication support for young adults in the Lawndale/Hawthorne, CA area for the upcoming Extended School Year (ESY) program.
Position Overview- Provide targeted speech and language services to young adults enrolled in a specialized Adult Transition and Extensive Needs Support Program.
- Support functional communication, social‑pragmatic, and transitional skills in school, community, and post‑secondary environments to help students achieve greater independence.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals while maintaining accurate documentation, progress reports, and service records.
- Collaborate with educators, summer staff, and families to ensure continuity of services during a convenient morning schedule (8:30 AM–1:00 PM).
- Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid California Speech‑Language Pathologist License
- Prior experience providing speech‑language services in a school‑based setting (Preferred)
