Missions

The services of the home maintenance department are tasked with implementing and promoting a social policy towards elderly and/or disabled individuals. They operate under the authority of the Directorate of Social Action and the CCAS. In the context of developing and improving personal services, the services of the SAAD, SSIAD, and meal delivery have been consolidated to create a home autonomy service.

The composition of the service includes:

• A care sector with a capacity of 38 elderly people, authorized by the ARS. It consists of 8 full-time equivalents of nursing assistants and 1 full-time equivalent of activity manager.
• An aid sector with 26 full-time equivalents of home helpers, 1 full-time equivalent of activity aid manager, and 1 full-time equivalent of deputy activity aid manager and meal delivery reference.
• Meal delivery with 2 full-time equivalents of social agents and 1 full-time equivalent of assistant manager.

The role involves providing personal assistance to elderly and/or disabled individuals within the framework of household and daily life activities. Interventions are defined based on an evaluation of the user's needs, conducted by the activity aid manager and the deputy activity aid manager and meal delivery reference at home.

Tasks include:

• Routine cleaning of the home;
• Laundry (washing, drying, ironing);
• Accompanying in the realization of leisure activities and social life;
• Meal administration;
• Grocery shopping;
• Preparation of balanced meals, in compliance with any prescribed diets;
• Assistance in administrative management.

Required knowledge and skills include experience with elderly or disabled individuals, information transmission.

Required qualities are adaptability and stress management, autonomy, versatility in task completion, organizational skills, punctuality, professional secrecy, listening and contact skills, empathy, and patience.

Working hours range from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with weekend and holiday work, and home visits in the Vaudais territory. A driver's license B is desirable.

Indicative treatment related to the job framework; NBI (for holders);
