Digital Services domain at DTO (eg VGCS) is looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with focus on frontend to Route & Zone team. Context:
You will be part of developing the service Range & Route which offers to end user customer route planning and range prediction of electric vehicles.

Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java, React, typescript) – to Route & Zone Team, Volvo group DTO Services (previously Volvo Group Connected Solutions) We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with expertise in frontend React/JavaScript and has knowledge of Java/Springboot and have AWS cloud skills. You'll be a key driver in our evolution toward a full-stack team. Your primary focus will be frontend partnering up with our lead developer as a core part of delivery.

You have a good understanding of the interface between frontend/Backend/cloud and can actively review and propose designs & improvements. You will also contribute to our Java-based backend/Cloud when needed.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and develop frontend using React and typescript.
• Implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS.
• Integrate, Build and maintain APIs (REST and GraphQL) and external integration.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and performance.
• Deploy, operate, and maintain applications in a cloud environment.
• Contribute to Java/typescript Backend/Cloud as required.
• Act as a mentor and technical leader in frontend architecture/design discussions.

Required Expertise:

• 5+ years as React & Java developer.
• Expert-level proficiency in React/JavaScript and Type Script.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
• Good working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with state management (Redux) and GraphQL.
• Proven experience with test automation and frameworks (Jest, Cypress).

Skills:

• Strong communication and collaborative mindset.
• Dev Ops/CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in developing & maintaining a map based tool.
• Experience in using AI tools like AWS Kiro.
• MongoDB, Docker, Git.
• Fluent English.
