Join us and build scalable software with real impact. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Java Developer with a strong backend focus to join our Tracking team in Gothenburg.

In this role, you will primarily work with backend services and APIs, while also contributing to frontend development as part of a modern fullstack engineering team. You will help build reliable, secure, and scalable solutions in a cloud-based environment, with AWS and Kubernetes as important parts of our technical landscape.

Tracking is a growing product area with high expectations on availability, quality, security, and delivery speed. As part of the team, you will play an important role in both product development and operational excellence. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our growing use of AI — both in customer-facing capabilities and in how we improve our engineering workflows.

What you will do:

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Contribute to frontend development using Eclipse RCP, and work in an environment that also includes Angular or React
• Develop and operate solutions in AWS
• Contribute to the evolution of Kubernetes-based CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud-native delivery practices
• Help ensure production readiness through monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
• Apply secure software engineering practices, including secure coding, dependency management, and access control patterns
• Collaborate on AI-related initiatives, such as exploring AI-enabled product functionality, integrating AI/ML services where relevant, and using AI tools to improve development efficiency
• Work closely with product, QA, and other engineering colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions that create customer value
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation approximately one week every 6–8 weeks

What we are looking for:

• Solid senior-level experience in software development with Java, preferably Spring Boot
• Experience in frontend development with Eclipse RCP, and willingness to work in an environment that also includes Angular or React
• Experience working in production environments on AWS
• Experience with containerized applications, cloud-native development, and/or Kubernetes-based delivery pipelines
• Good working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or supporting services
• Strong experience with Linux, including debugging and operational troubleshooting
• A quality-focused and ownership-driven mindset, with the ability to take solutions from development to production
• Curiosity about AI and interest in understanding how it can be used in a practical and valuable way

It's a plus if you also have:

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployments, troubleshooting, or Helm
• Experience with observability practices such as metrics, logs, tracing, and reliability/SLO thinking
• Experience building or integrating AI/ML-enabled functionality
• Knowledge of secure development practices and vulnerability remediation
• Experience working in complex systems with multiple integrations
