Bulk Fuel Delivery

Position available in Anselmo NE area SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

This position is responsible for the proper and safe delivery of refined fuels to patrons and inter-company, as well as general vehicle and equipment maintenance and repairs.

• Delivers refined fuels and related merchandise to the patron.
• Sells, installs and services farm fuel storage systems.
• Maintains delivery truck and bulk plants - responsible to either repair any malfunctions or immediately report them to supervisor.
• Responsible for security of delivery truck and bulk plant.
• Attends and participates in all meetings and schools as directed by supervisor.
• Promotes and sells petroleum products to new and existing patrons.
• Notifies Fuel Dispatcher when fuel inventories are low.
• Establishes and operates an efficient route delivery system for the operation of the tank wagon.
• Assists in taking inventory.
• Assists with other departments within the cooperative: agronomy, grain, feed, seed, etc.
• Submits reports as required by law and supervisor.
• Administers and controls credit within the associations established credit policy.
• Maintains a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the Cooperative and a favorable image of the Cooperative;
• Responsible for maintaining clean facilities, and complying with all state and federal regulations pertaining to a safe workplace, housekeeping, and all activities that require regulation compliance;
• Provides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations; respond promptly to customer needs, resolve questions, complaints and concerns immediately and meet commitments;
• Effectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees and management;
• Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures and reporting requirements;
• Presents a clean and professional appearance;
• Employee is required to perform all other duties as directed by the supervisor.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Commercial Driver’s License (Class A with Tanker, Air brakes and Hazmat endorsements), company approved driving record.
