Be a part of the LCRA Summer Camp program as a bus driver! You'll transport youth and adult guests of McKinney Roughs Nature Park for various river and outdoor recreation programs. How

You’ll Contribute
  • Safely transport campers and staff to and from camp activities, field trips and scheduled events.
  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure the bus is clean, fueled and operating safely.
  • Maintain and repair park equipment and tools, perform daily inspections of vehicles and maintain records.
  • Follow all traffic laws, camp transportation policies and safety procedures at all times.
  • Perform exceptional customer service and promote a positive and respectful environment during transportation.
How You’re Qualified
  • 5 years of bus driving experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • A valid Class B CDL with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements; obtained through DPS office.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record according to TPS safety standards.
  • Complete a state‑approved 20‑hour School Bus Safety Certification course.
