Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all line maintenance activities, ensuring company and customer requirements are met and customers’ schedules are maintained.
- Ensure personnel under management follow company safety practices and FAA/CFR rules and regulations.
- Monitor departures, create delay reports, and take necessary actions to mitigate future delays.
- Generate database reports for daily meetings.
- Ensure staffing and material requirements are satisfied cost‑effectively.
- Review staff billing documentation to ensure accurate accounting of equipment, material, and man‑hours.
- Coordinate shift managers and customer departments for maintenance, repair, overhaul, and alterations of customers’ aircraft.
- Determine material support needs for area of responsibility.
- Inspect facilities, tooling, equipment, and GSE for compliance with company policies and standards.
- Maintain a clean, orderly repair station.
- Keep operational expenses within budget goals.
- Ensure personnel are properly trained, qualified, authorized, and sufficient in number.
- Ensure compliance with FAA/CFR rules, customer requirements, and company policies.
- Follow customer operating procedures and manuals at all times, including fueling, de‑icing, and all special procedures required by the customer’s Ops Specs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance, Regional Manager, Station, and Program Manager.
- Current valid driver’s license and an A/P license.
- Aircraft type experience: A320 or similar commercial airline type training.
- Pass airport security background check.
- Read and write in English.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Airline Supervisor or Maintenance Control experience.
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
- Line maintenance experience 2‑3 years.
- Line maintenance Leadership experience.
