Site Spotter / Operations Assistant
Job description
- Guide large trucks (9–10 axle) safely into and around the job site (Spotter)
- Direct traffic and assist with on-site vehicle movement
- Ensuring the equipment does not hit anyone or anything
- Paying attention to the positioning of a load during lift and lower
- Knowing the equipment operator’s blind spots
- Confirming the load is balanced and not in danger of tipping
- Watching for hazards along the travel path
- Directing the travel route when the operator’s view is limited
- Keeping pedestrians out of the danger zone
