Traffic Planner Position At DFDS Logistics Services AB

DFDS Logistics Services AB, a transport company located in Arendal, operates around the clock, six days a week, employing around 250 full-time staff. The fleet includes approximately 300 vehicles, comprising 80 trucks and 220 trailers.

As a traffic planner at DFDS Logistics Services AB, you will play an operational role responsible for the daily planning and management of transportation within the Arendal transport operation. The position is a temporary assignment for one year from an agreed start date.

The role is full-time, with working hours in the evening between 14:30-23:30. You will join an experienced team in an operation that runs 24/7, six days a week, with an extensive fleet of trucks and trailers.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic role where the pace can vary quickly. You are confident in your communication skills, equally comfortable speaking with drivers and colleagues. We place great importance on your personal approach and your ability to solve problems that arise along the way. You should have a good basic understanding of logistics and be comfortable using a computer as a tool.

• Basic understanding of logistics
• Good prioritization skills
• General system and data skills (internal system training provided)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Previous experience in traffic management is advantageous
