Description of Work
- The U.S. Meat Animal Research Center (USMARC) is a 34,000-acre facility located near Clay Center, NE. The work performed at USMARC supports research that is focused on solving high priority problems for the U.S. beef cattle, sheep, and swine industries. As the Supply Control Clerk, you will:

• Check all incoming supplies and equipment against receiving documents for agreement as to quantity, description, size, weight, etc.
• Pack and ship by most economical methods, any damaged or other merchandise to be returned.
• Perform typical warehouse functions, such as receiving, stocking shelves, filling orders and delivering ordered goods.
• Operate organization vehicles to move materials to and from work locations.
• Perform clerical functions such as typing requisitions, maintaining computerized inventory system and filing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma plus one year warehouse/inventory control experience required; equivalent education/experience will be considered. Forklift experience necessary. Computer proficiency and ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs necessary. Excellent interpersonal skills essential. Valid driver's license ability to meet University driver eligibility criteria.
