Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, occasional evenings, weekends and early mornings as needed.
Position SummaryExecutes and manages a range of multimedia and marketing activities to support the credit union. Updates and maintains specific graphic design tasks. Creates and implements a social media plan, including content creation, scheduling, and analysis. Manages and responds to all aspects of member media interactions. Assists the Community Development Coordinator at events and serves as a backup in the absence of the Community Development Coordinator.
Additionally, this position provides multiple levels of support for the marketing team, ensuring the consistent projection and maintenance of the credit union’s professional image and brand.
Job Duties
- Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of specific multimedia duties.
- Assists with the effective performance of graphic design duties.
- Supports the Marketing Department and assumes responsibility for effectively completing public relations activities.
- Assumes responsibility for maintaining and updating marketing and media channels.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with Credit Union personnel and management.
- Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, Art/Design/Photography, English or related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe design products:
Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. - Intermediate knowledge of Canva, CAPCUT, and Videoleap.
- Intermediate knowledge of video shooting techniques.
- Intermediate knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Linked In.
- Understanding of graphic design and professional layout design.
- Understanding of pre-press processes, including color techniques, digital file formats, document set-up, and printing options and techniques.
- Knowledge of credit union products and delivery methods is a plus.
- Basic understanding of public relations and marketing processes.
- Two to five years’ office experience.
- Two to five years’ experience promoting on social media platforms.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative and artistic.
- Detail oriented.
- Must work well independently or with teams.
- Proficient with multiple computer applications including Windows XP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe.
- Occasional overnight stays.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Art/Design/Photography, English, or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe design products:
Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. - Knowledge of credit union products and delivery methods is a plus.
- One to three years of experience in a credit union is preferred.

Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. - Repetitive motion:
Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. - Average visual abilities:
Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery. - Physical strength:
Medium work; sitting most of the time. Exerts 10-20 lbs. of force occasionally.
Worker will occasionally be subject to outside weather conditions. Frequent local travel.
