This role involves providing engineering guidance to technicians and operators for troubleshooting and maintenance activities. The engineer will create construction cost projections, evaluate technical effort requirements, support maintenance strategies to reduce equipment failures and downtime, identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies, ensure cost-effective procurement of engineering materials and services, develop engineering procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency, identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reliability, and perform other assigned duties.

• Provides engineering guidance to technicians and operators for troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Creates construction cost projections and evaluates the technical effort requirements for projects.
• Contributes to implementing maintenance strategies to minimize equipment failures and downtime.
• Identifies potential hazards and develops mitigation strategies.
• Ensures cost-effective procurement of engineering materials and services.
• Contributes to creating engineering procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Typically requires 8 years of related experience.
