About This PositionWe are seeking an experienced
Emergency Technician to join our emergency team at NVC Nederland. This is an ideal opportunity for technicians who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy hands-on, critical patient care.
This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative emergency team focused on high-quality medicine and strong communication.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on support for emergency and critical care patients
- Perform animal handling and restraint in urgent situations
- Perform venipuncture and assist with diagnostics
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals
- Assist with CPR and emergency response as needed
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients during stressful situations
- Support doctors and teammates during emergency procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
- Animal handling and restraint
- Venipuncture
- Diagnostics
- Anesthesia monitoring and management
- CPR experience or training
- Client communication in urgent or emotional situations
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Drug calculations and medication dosing experience
- Pay Range: Very generous pay range (based on experience)
