Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Schedule: Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts
Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
On-Call: None

About This PositionWe are seeking a dependable, confident Overnight Treatment Technician to support patient care during evening and overnight hours. This is a critical role and an important part of ensuring continuity of care for our hospitalized patients.
This position is ideal for someone who is a self‑starter, comfortable working with minimal supervision, and takes pride in being trusted to manage patient care overnight.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and care for hospitalized and recovering patients overnight
- Perform animal handling, restraint, and patient assessments
- Perform venipuncture and assist with diagnostics as needed
- Accurately monitor vitals and patient status
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
- Maintain a calm, organized, and responsible presence during overnight hours
- Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant treatment environment
- Previous veterinary experience with:
- Animal handling and restraint
- Venipuncture
- Diagnostics
- Client and team communication
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment during overnight care
- Anesthesia monitoring and management
- CPR certification or experience
