This is a full‑time, 40‑hour‑per‑week position requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at Needham, MA, with the remaining days worked remotely. No relocation or housing assistance is offered.
The role is part of the Shark Ninja Early Edge Experience, an early‑career program designed to provide meaningful projects, professional development opportunities, community events, and networking with leaders.
Job SummarySupport the end‑to‑end forecasting process for new product launches by digging into projections for each item family, identifying risks and opportunities by customer, and delivering accurate and actionable global forecasts. Reporting into the Strategic Planning Operations team, collaborate closely with stakeholders across Strategic Sales & Analytics, Supply Planning, Marketing, Sales, and Product Development.
Responsibilities- Champion global NPD forecasts by connecting supply plan, commercial strategy, and sales strategy.
- Analyze and dot‑connect data to enable flawless NPD transitions.
- Ensure launch dates, strategies, and forecasts are actively communicated to key stakeholders.
- Support the NPD Sales Commits / Breakthrough target process globally so Operations and Product Development can validate the roadmap.
- Prepare and present the status of NPD global forecast on a monthly cycle.
- Partner with Supply Planning to drive an inventory big‑bet process on NPD.
- Pressure‑test new product forecasts by building high/medium/low scenarios by country to guide the innovation pipeline.
- See firsthand how demand planning connects to strategy, innovation, and execution in a fast‑moving global business.
- Education:
Current student in the third year or beyond of a bachelor’s program, or a recent graduate (within the past year). - Full‑time schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week in Needham, MA.
- Solid understanding of retail fundamentals, including incrementality, cannibalization, and market share dynamics.
- Curiosity and creativity, always asking "why" and seeking deeper insight.
- Ability to flag trends, anomalies, or risks quickly.
- Generate insights that spark conversation, shape decisions, and drive growth.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, across teams and levels.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; able to manipulate data, build models, and distill complex information.
