ProgramManager Overview
Program Managers at Shark Ninja own the entire New Product Development (NPD) process from concept to shelf for our Shark and Ninja brands. They deliver best‑in‑class product development thinking, governance, and process to enable seamless execution of the program portfolio. Working cross‑functionally, they act as general managers, establishing and driving timelines, resources, and schedules to bring products to market quickly while ensuring 5‑star quality and high sales performance.
Responsibilities- Drive and actively facilitate interactions among cross‑functional stakeholders to bring products to market, including managing risks and schedule.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure that the go‑to‑market strategy generates high sales volume.
- Accountable for delivering all program elements, from product ideation to end‑of‑life.
- Use KPIs and data to drive decision‑making across cross‑functional teams.
- Identify program risks, develop mitigation plans, and track progress.
- Spot and address resource and knowledge gaps to keep the program on track.
- Channel global information to local teams and act as conduit to support the business.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, engineering, or business management field is highly desired.
- 3+ years of direct program management experience.
- Experience in new product development or program management, preferably in the Consumer Goods industry.
- Assertive, confident, and capable of leading high‑performing teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills, with experience addressing C‑Suite and cross‑functional audiences.
- Strong cross‑functional leadership skills.
- Bias for action and accountability.
- Intermediate or working‑level skills with MS Project (or similar), Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- High energy, positive attitude, and detail‑oriented.
- Proficient presentation skills, comfortable presenting to large groups and executive management.
Annual salary range: $62,400—$119,600 USD.
