Construction Project Manager - Residential New Construction
Location: Newton/Needham, MA (On-Site + Local Job Sites)
The Absolute is a small, growing residential builder focused primarily on new construction. We're hiring an on-site Project Manager who can run projects with minimal oversight, someone who builds their own plan, drives the schedule, and frees up the owner's time so the business can scale.
Key Responsibilities- Own day-to-day execution of residential construction projects (and occasional light commercial)
- Build and manage schedules, priorities, and task lists (no "babysitting" needed)
- Coordinate subs, materials, inspections, and jobsite logistics
- Keep projects organized in Job Tread (Buildertrend experience also transfers well)
- Provide structured updates (weekly + quick daily check-ins when needed)
- Proven construction PM experience (residential new construction strongly preferred)
- Strong organization + follow-through (you create the agenda, not the other way around)
- Clear communication and ability to work independently
- English proficiency required for job-related communication. Additional language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, or Russian) are a plus.
- True commercial experience (not just "some") is a huge plus
- Multifamily exposure is preferred
- Job Tread experience is a plus
- Full-time position, W-2 Employment
- Base: $95,000 to $145,000 per year, based on experience
- Opportunity to shape processes and standards

- Potential bonus for hitting goals (project milestones, profitability)
