Job DescriptionNeedham Public Schools is an inclusive, dynamic, and multicultural community seeking energetic, skilled, and warm Sub Varsity Athletic Coaches (see below for specific positions) to join our team. To enhance our goals of supporting every child, Needham Public Schools seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Girls Grade 9 Volleyball Coach – Stipend range: $3,349-$3,983
- Cheerleading Program Assistant – Stipend range: $1,187 - $1,780

High School coaching experience is preferred, but not required. Applications will be received and positions will be filled on a rolling basis.
The Fall season starts Monday, August 24th and ends between November 2nd - 29th depending on the sport.
Responsibilities- Must be CPR certified.
- Must communicate effectively with school admin, faculty, parents, and student‑athletes.
- Must supervise student‑athletes at all team events.
- Must promote a positive learning environment for all team members.
- Must have a flexible schedule for home contests and buses for away contests.
- Must assist Head Coach with collection of uniforms.
- Must communicate with athletic trainer concerning injuries and student playing status.
