- Support the Intensive Autism Program
- Build program capacity throughout the district as required and/or support and/or consult with students and staff as required
- Develop programs for students that require discrete trials, ABA work and programming through the ABLLS and/or VBMAPP
- Training of staff in Intensive Autism Programs
- Provide professional development for Professional Development days and Early Release days
- Educate and work with general education staff and teaching assistants
- Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans for students in order to improve students’ challenging behaviors
- Attend IEP meetings
- Support staff with data
- Support staff on skill development for individual students collection and using data to drive instruction and programming for individual students
- Plan with staff for successful socialization and inclusion within regular education settings and with typically developing peers
- Any other duties for responsibilities as determined by the Director of Special Education and building Special Education Coordinator
- Certified in Massachusetts as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
- Master's Degree
- At least 3 years working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Salary is determined by education and experience, ranging from Bachelor’s (Step
1) $25,286.80 to Doctorate (Step 14) $53,568.80 (this range is prorated for 0.40 FTE). Please review the Unit A contract and this page to learn more about employee compensation and benefits.
