Responsibilities- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through hands on learning experiences.
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities aligned with curriculum and the Jewish calendar.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and well-organized classroom environment.
- Adapt activities to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Communicate regularly with families through daily updates, photos, and learning documentation.
- Participate in family engagement events and school community activities.
- Collaborate with teaching teams through regular planning meetings and coaching sessions.
- Maintain classroom routines, materials, and compliance with licensing and safety standards.
- Teaching certification from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care OR relevant coursework and experience.
- Minimum of 3–9 months of preschool or kindergarten teaching experience.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Warm, responsive, and engaging approach with children and families.
- Ability to work as part of a reflective, team-oriented environment.
Monday – Friday 10:15 am
-6:15 pm
- Salary: $52,800 - $70,000
