About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun and nurturing early childhood educator
, who is experienced in teaching early childhood music in the private one-on-one lesson setting, to teach part-time at Needham Music in Needham, MA
. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in early childhood education and a love of teaching. Experience working with children ages 3 to 5 years old, and the ability to pass a routine background check are a must. Proficient piano/guitar/ukulele skills are helpful but not required. The candidate should feel comfortable reading, interpreting, and implementing lesson plans from a program. Punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check are required for this position.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $35-40/hour. Health benefits options and a 401K with employer match are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble after 30 days of employment.
