The Systems Engineering Executive Leader is responsible for defining and driving the systems engineering strategy across the company s portfolio of consumer products. This executive serves as the technical integrator between product development, hardware engineering, software engineering, R&D, product management, design, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure the delivery of innovative, high-quality, and reliable consumer appliances.
This leader establishes the frameworks, processes, tools, and organizational capabilities required to manage increasingly complex, connected, and software-enabled products. The role ensures that customer requirements are translated into robust system architectures, technical requirements, verification plans, and product performance outcomes while accelerating innovation and reducing development risk.
As a key member of the Engineering Leadership Team, the Systems Engineering Executive Leader will champion model-based systems engineering, requirements management, systems architecture, product validation, reliability engineering, and cross-functional technical governance throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Engineering Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the company s systems engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Build and lead a high-performing global systems engineering organization.
- Establish systems engineering standards, methodologies, tools, and best practices across all product categories.
- Drive organizational maturity in systems thinking, architecture development, requirements management, and technical decision-making.
- Serve as the senior technical authority for complex cross-functional product development programs.
- Lead development of product system architectures for current and future appliance platforms.
- Ensure alignment between customer needs, business objectives, technical requirements, and product performance targets.
- Drive platform strategies that enable scalability, reuse, and technology leverage across product families.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their impact on future product roadmaps.
- Guide critical design trade-offs involving performance, cost, manufacturability, reliability, and user experience.
- Establish robust processes for capturing, decomposing, and managing product requirements.
