Commercial Pricing Manager

Pricing discipline is what protects margin in a fast-growing consumer business and this role owns it. As Commercial Pricing Manager
, you will be the steward of how Shark Ninja prices its products to retailers: running the approval process, safeguarding front‑end margin standards, and keeping our pricing data accurate across Oracle and our Sales Planning tool. The work is detail‑intensive and cross‑functional, and the decisions you enable show up directly in the P&L.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the pricing approval process end‑to‑end, holding decisions to strategic goals and retailer front‑end margin standards.
  • Investigate deviations from standard margin requirements and deliver recommendations to Commercial and Finance that protect gross margin.
  • Maintain and refine pricing controls to ensure accuracy and consistency across every customer segment.
  • Own Shark Ninja’s price list, keeping updates timely and accurately reflected across every system that consumes it.
  • Manage the pricing system’s integration with Oracle and the internal Sales Planning tool so data flows cleanly and stays accurate end‑to‑end.
  • Partner with IT and Finance to improve pricing processes, using Oracle and adjacent platforms to keep pricing data consistent and accurate across every system of record.
  • Serve as the subject‑matter expert on pricing system functionality, supporting Commercial, Finance, and Order Management.
  • Work hand‑in‑hand with the Commercial organization to align on pricing strategy, updates, and controls.
  • Train commercial teams on pricing processes, controls, and system functionality so they can operate confidently within them.
  • Drive cross‑functional work with Finance, Order Management, and IT to keep pricing strategy moving without friction.
  • Be the go‑to escalation point for pricing issues, resolving them quickly and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Build and roll out process improvements that make pricing management more efficient and scalable.
  • Track key pricing metrics and report on compliance, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Surface actionable insights to senior leadership on pricing trends, system performance, and where to invest next.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in pricing, finance, or IT, including direct ownership of pricing controls or system integrations.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a proven track record managing complex pricing data and safeguarding system accuracy.
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (Oracle or equivalent) and a record of optimizing workflows and system performance.
  • Strong analytical toolkit; advanced Excel required; SQL or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Commercial, Finance, IT, and Operations.
  • Track record of driving process improvements in pricing; streamlining workflows and lifting efficiency.
  • Oracle ERP experience and exposure to Sales Planning or CPQ tools.
  • Consumer products or CPG background, with familiarity navigating retailer margin requirements.
  • Experience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
