Our team is working with a leading specialty finance and asset-based lending firm providing working capital and asset‑based lending to middle‑market companies looking to hire a Senior Accountant to their growing team. The Senior Accountant will support portfolio finance and lending operations by assisting with borrowing base certificates, monthly financial reporting, and lender reporting requirements. Responsibilities include supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts while helping monitor liquidity and funding activities.
The position is actively involved in daily banking operations, including borrower fundings and bank advances, ensuring timely and accurate execution of financing transactions.

Responsibilities- Assist in preparing weekly/as‑needed borrowing base certificates
- Assist in preparing monthly financials and required monthly bank reporting packages
- Assist in budgeting and financial modeling
- Involvement with daily banking activities/fundings of our borrowers and advances from our banks
- Assist in preparing schedules and support for 2 field exams per year and the annual audit
- 3‑5 years experience in accounting
- Public Accounting experience is a plus
- Exposure to banking clients preferred, but not required
- High level of proficiency utilizing MS Office Excel, familiarity with Quick Books a plus, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid analytical skills, and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
