Key responsibilities include handling and labeling specimens, maintaining accurate documentation, troubleshooting issues with vendor labs, and managing specimen shipping and inventory. The position requires training staff, entering test results accurately, and developing systems for timely specimen management.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ months healthcare or relevant experience
- Basic computer and Microsoft skills
- Valid US driver's license and reliable transportation
- Associate’s degree with biology/chemistry courses
- 1+ years as a phlebotomist
- Knowledge of medical terminology and excellent customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand or walk for most of the shift.
This full-time position offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities, with hourly rates ranging from $16.00 to $29.00 based on experience.
