Location & ScheduleThis is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite either in Miami, FL or in Needham, MA. There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.

Shark Byte is Shark Ninja’s AI-native early talent program, designed for builders who want to learn by doing, move fast, and see their work in production, not in a slide deck at the end of the summer. As a Shark Byte Applied AI & Analytics Intern, you’ll be at the center of Shark Ninja’s company-wide AI transformation, working on high-impact, cross-functional business problems that drive measurable impact across the organization.
From day one, interns are embedded into real Shark Ninja initiatives with ownership, visibility, and direct collaboration alongside technical and business leaders. You’ll partner closely with teams across the company to use AI and analytics to turn data into insights that inform decision-making and help shape real business outcomes.
This experience sits at the intersection of Shark Ninja’s Jailbreak AI initiative, a company-wide movement backed by $1M in innovation awards, giving interns exposure to real AI deployments, not sandbox exercises. Participants also gain access to the same AI tools and environments used across the company, including Claude Enterprise and a personal AWS sandbox, allowing them to build, test, and experiment without friction.
The program is built for students with experience in software engineering, AI/ML, full-stack development, automation, or data analytics who are ready to apply their skills in a fast-paced business environment from day one. Interns also participate in Early Edge programming focused on mentorship, networking, and professional development, while gaining exposure to executives, AI founders, and company-wide innovation events.
Top performers have pathways to return offers or future full-time opportunities, and every participant leaves with a Shark Byte AI Certification tied directly to the work they shipped and the impact they delivered.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do- Support the scoping and analysis of business questions by gathering and organizing relevant data
- Write AI prompts and assist in data cleaning and preparation
- Design and iterate on AI prompts to extract actionable insights from business data
- Help build dashboards, reports, or simple models used by internal teams through the use of AI tools
- Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and insights within datasets through AI
- Use AI tools to improve efficiency and support analytical workflows
- Contribute to agentic workflow prototypes that automate manual, high-friction business processes
