We are searching for an Applications Engineer II to support HPR's clients by solving technically complex problems for some of the largest financial institutions in the world.
Headquartered in Needham, Massachusetts, HPR is undergoing exponential growth as we expand our existing product lines and develop the next generation of HPR products, building upon an already highly profitable company.
As an Applications Engineer II at HPR, you will:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar field
- 2+ years supporting business critical applications
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability and initiative to complete tasks and solve problems autonomously
- Strong Linux systems administrator skills
- Experience with Python and Shell scripting
- Proficient understanding of networking technologies and protocols (TCP, switch configuration, routing)
Desired
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with C and Python programming
- Experience with Jira/Confluence
Compensation:
In compliance with Massachusetts law, the anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $135,100. Please note that this range represents the expected base salary for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. This range does not include other forms of compensation such as potential bonuses, equity, or benefits.
