Senior Dev Ops Engineer

Job Summary (List Format):

• Serve as a well-rounded Dev Ops/Platform Engineer supporting enterprise Dev Ops platforms and automation solutions.
• Administer, maintain, and upgrade Dev Tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Enterprise, Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, Bitbucket, Sonar Qube, JFrog Artifactory, and Hashi Corp Vault.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, and Dev Ops best practices.
• Automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational processes primarily using Python, Bash, and Power Shell.
• Deploy and support AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Implement and manage secrets management, authentication, and security integrations (e.g., Hashi Corp Vault).
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements.
• Utilize AI-powered engineering tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance automation, productivity, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Collaborate on platform modernization initiatives and stay updated on Dev Ops, Cloud, Security, and AI engineering best practices.
• Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies and integrate with enterprise systems.
• Engage in the migration of Jira and Confluence from Data Center to Cloud.
• Support includes platform lifecycle management, patching, and system integrations.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise Dev Ops tools (Jenkins, Git Hub, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Sonar Qube, JFrog, Hashi Corp Vault).
• Expertise in Dev Ops principles, CI/CD pipelines, SDLC, Git workflows, and Git Hub Actions.
• Strong programming and scripting abilities in Python, Bash, and Power Shell.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Experience with security best practices including SSO, identity management, and secrets management.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and platform integrations.
• Proven use of AI-assisted development tools for productivity.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.

• Experience with Jira Align, Rovo AI, and Cloud Formation is a plus.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Hashi Corp Vault is useful but not critical.
