Civil Litigation Attorney (Mid-Level, 3–4 Years Experience)

Compensation: $140,000–$180,000+ DOE

A growing litigation practice in the Greater Boston area is expanding its team and seeking a mid-level Civil Litigation Attorney to support an active and diverse caseload. With recent additions to the senior attorney and paralegal ranks, the firm is strategically building a well-balanced team and offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney ready to take on meaningful responsibility.

This role is designed for an attorney who is comfortable managing cases and appearing in court, while also collaborating on strategy and complex matters. The ideal candidate will bring strong drafting skills, confidence in advocacy, and the ability to independently manage deadlines and client communications.

You will be entrusted with substantial involvement in all aspects of civil litigation, including:

• Managing matters from initial pleadings through trial
• Drafting motions, briefs, discovery, and legal memoranda
• Conducting legal research on nuanced and complex issues
• Attending and participating in depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions
• Maintaining organized case files and proactively managing litigation timelines
  
  Working closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and development
• Communicating effectively with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Commercial and business litigation
• Contract disputes and business torts
• Personal injury and negligence claims
• Employment and discrimination cases
• Civil rights litigation

• Active Massachusetts Bar admission
• 3–4 years of civil litigation experience in a law firm or comparable setting
• Strong writing, research, and analytical abilities
• Demonstrated courtroom experience and motion practice proficiency
• Professional presence and strong client-facing skills
