Responsibilities
  • Support the VP and senior leadership with development of profitable programs for a full product category, leading new product development from brainstorming through mass production.
  • Lead, manage, and grow team members from intern to manager level, providing guidance, professional development, and accountability.
  • Drive the definition and development of product specifications, marrying consumer wants/needs, market white space, and new technologies.
  • Steer the development of design targets for product performance and user experience, acting as the beacon for cross‑functional teams.
  • Partner with the Consumer Insights team to develop testing objectives and incorporate consumer feedback into product specifications and design iterations.
  • Partner with testing and quality organizations to define, develop, and manage quality and performance testing procedures.
  • Manage product cost structure, reporting, and cost rationalization, collaborating with supply chain, merchandising, and supply planning teams on sourcing strategy recommendations.
  • Provide direction into the creation and execution of go‑to‑market collateral, including instructional material and consumer‑facing product specifications.
  • Develop product troubleshooting guides and FAQs to support a 5‑star consumer experience after purchase.
  • Serve as the product and/or category expert for cross‑functional team member questions and concerns.
  • Take leadership of larger cross‑functional breakthroughs that increase executive visibility and accelerate career growth.
Qualifications
  • 8‑10+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field, preferably at a consumer goods company.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering or an equivalent combination.
  • Experience hiring, managing, leading, and setting goals for team members with varying levels of experience.
  • A consumer‑first perspective when introducing new products or improving existing products.
  • Ability to manage upward by communicating top priorities and seeking feedback.
  • Strong relationship‑building mindset and excellent interpersonal skills across multifunctional teams.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills for presentations and succinct conversations with all management levels.
  • Strong project management skills, prioritizing effectively, handling multiple projects, and staying organized in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A desire to learn and grow in a passionate environment.
  • Commitment to transparency, shifting priorities, and learning from decisions while focusing on continuous improvement.
Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $123,800 — $246,400 USD.
