Associate Product Developer - Haircare

• Support the Shark business onsite in Needham, MA headquarters with the development of successful and profitable programs for key products, leading new product development from the brainstorm phase through mass production and partnering with leadership to define overarching category direction.
• Define, develop, and iterate product specifications, acting as the primary consumer advocate.
• Take ownership of assigned categories’ sales performance, partnering with others to identify product performance and recommend new opportunities.
• Lead competitive product analyses, providing insights into how Shark stacks up against the competition.
• Voice insights from legacy product lines to ensure critical features and feedback are incorporated into next‑generation products.
• Partner with Test and Quality organizations to define, develop, and manage quality and performance testing procedures.
• Serve as the product “expert” for cross‑functional team member questions and concerns.

• 2-3+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field, preferably at a consumer goods company.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a combination.
• Consumer‑first perspective when introducing new products/processes or improving current products.
• Strong relationship‑building mindset across multi‑functional teams and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills—written and face‑to‑face, including presenting to all levels of management.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
• Desire to learn and grow in a passionate environment, embracing transparency and shifting priorities.

Salary Range: $56,300—$101,700 USD.
