This role is on site 3x a week in our Needham HQ. Our goal is to make Shark and Ninja true devotion brands—built on deep category and consumer understanding, and brought to life through intentional, breakthrough marketing that drives both brand health and profitable growth. Responsibilities- Drive global growth of the category and own the innovation pipeline from early concept development through full commercialization.
- Guide cross-functional teams through the end-to-end process, ensuring alignment, clarity, and excellence at every stage.
- Champion consistency in voice, tone, and messaging across packaging, advertising, PR, social/content marketing, web properties, trade materials, and in-market collateral.
- Shape brand strategy, contribute to the annual marketing plan, and ensure flawless execution in market to deliver against category goals.
- Develop category/brand positioning strategies, portfolio architecture, product concepts, breakthrough claims, and pricing strategies to increase marketability and sales.
- Develop messaging and assets that deliver clear consumer understanding of products and brand, in partnership with Consumer Insights across global markets.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Creative Services and Sales to develop worldwide go-to-market plans.
- Develop messaging for packaging, digital, in-store collateral, and support for advertising and digital efforts.
- Conduct post-evaluation of activities and recommend improvements for future brand activity.
- Communicate the value proposition to the sales team and develop sales tools to support selling efforts.
- Work with Sales and Trade Marketing to develop breakthrough sell-in stories and in-store merchandising.
- Support development and implementation of best practices across all consumer touchpoints.
- Manage creative development processes, including timelines, approvals, and protocols.
- Manage and develop Associate Brand Managers/Brand Managers.
- 7+ years of prior marketing experience, preferably with direct responsibility for product marketing, messaging, positioning, and innovation planning and execution.
- Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns.
- Experience in creative strategy development, advertising, and launching new products.
- Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent; MBA preferred.
