Thousands of paying customers, growing enterprise adoption, genuine product-market fit. No VC, no dilution, no board theater. We're shipping our next-generation agentic platform and we need someone to own how the world finds out.
Our product is excellent. Our go-to-market needs work.
This is NOT a seat where you inherit a team, a budget, and a playbook and "optimize the funnel." There is no mature team (yet). There is no playbook yet. You would be the highest-ranked marketing person in the company, you report directly to the CEO, and the buck stops with you.
We're looking for a founder-mode operator who builds distribution channels from scratch, with their own hands - and then leads marketing as it scales. Player first, coach second. If you have not personally taken something from zero distribution to real, measurable signups, this is not your seat.
THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT ROLE IF:- You manage marketers more than you do the work yourself.
- You need a team, an agency, or a media budget to produce results.
- Your proudest wins are "brand awareness," impressions, MQLs, or "we ran a campaign."
- You want a tidy, narrowly-defined job box.
- You want remote or hybrid. (See location — on-site, 5 days, non-negotiable.)
- You’ve built a distribution channel from 0-1 and can point to the results (subscriptions, sales, conversions) it produced.
- You think in experiments and ship weekly, not quarterly.
- You use AI tooling to do the work of a whole team - a force multiplier, not a coordinator.
- You want to own the number, lead the function, and still be here in three years having built the marketing org you started.
The number: "free trials" as the metric that actually matters. Everything else is in service of that.
- Build and own our distribution channels - content / SEO / AEO, product-led growth, partnerships, paid, community — whatever actually moves FTs. You decide, you build, you’re accountable.
- Turn our next-gen launch into a distribution event, not a press release.
- Use AI tooling (Claude Code, agents, automations) to ship like a 5-person team. We are an "AI for almost everything" company; you’ll work like one.
- As it works: hire and lead the marketing team you wish you’d had on day one.
- Day 30:
Next-gen product launch GTM owned and in motion. - Day 60 - At least one GTM motion in proven industry niche.
- Day 90 - A numbers-backed plan for the next two GTM motion and your first hire.
- Owner-operator who leads and stays - this is the top marketing seat, not a stepping stone.
- AI-native in how you work (or obviously about to be) - AI is leverage, not a threat.
- Fluent in the numbers - CAC, activation, cohort retention; you argue with data.
- Clear, fast, low-ego communicator.
- Needham, MA - on-site, in person, 5 days a week. Non-negotiable.
- We are not able to sponsor visas for this role at this time.
- $200K OTE ($160K base + 40K performance bonus).
- Meaningful equity - real ownership, no VC dilution.
