Sr Manager, Amazon Performance Marketing

Responsible for supporting the development and delivery of integrated media campaigns that create brand awareness, drive consumer engagement, and maximize commercial impact within Shark Ninja’s Amazon media approach.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Innovate campaign media strategy to support business priorities, category objectives, communications calendar, and commercial goals.
  • Partner with third‑party agency providers on 360 activation plan ideation and development. Create and iterate media scenarios grounded in data, research, consumer trends, and best practices to deliver on multiple objectives and budget sizes.
  • Act as a trusted partner and subject‑matter expert to the broader Amazon organization; represent media and our go‑to‑market investments while thinking outside the box.

Production & Execution

  • Constantly optimize the execution of all media plans for the Shark Ninja Amazon brand through data‑driven decisions and media technology.
  • Proactively perform data analysis focused on improving media efficiency, understanding market trends, and monitoring competitive segments.
  • Effectively communicate media performance to internal stakeholders and the leadership team.
  • Project‑manage initiatives in alignment with media plans and pivot quickly to support requests.
  • Manage significant budgets across campaigns.

Analysis and Success Measurement

  • Collaborate with Category Management, Commercial Analytics, and E‑commerce teams to understand the broader impact of media delivery on sales channels.
  • Continue to stress test defined KPIs and identify new indicators for commercial success.
  • Ensure inputs and results of Marketing Mix Model programs are addressed swiftly and accurately to inform planning as best as possible.
Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of marketing/media experience.
  • Extensive performance media experience, including hands‑on experience with Amazon search and DSP and a strong understanding of Amazon’s algorithm and ranking factors.
  • Experience working with third‑party platforms such as Skai or Pacvue.
  • Experience with non‑Amazon retail media such as search, programmatic, social, etc. is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for strategic decision‑making.
  • Familiarity with future technologies, such as Amazon Marketing Stream, Amazon Marketing Cloud, AI, and ML, is desirable.
  • Experience managing external agency relationships and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving performance marketing objectives, incremental return on ad spend, and new customer acquisition.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $150,000 – $170,000 USD.
