About the RoleAt Shark Ninja, we don’t just sell products; we create category-defining consumer experiences. We are looking for a sharp, hungry, and highly collaborative Junior Copywriter to join our in‑house creative team. Operating out of our global headquarters in Needham, MA, this role is built for a wordsmith who loves to turn complex technical innovations into punchy, human, and highly persuasive stories.
You will partner closely with Designers, Art Directors, and Brand Managers to craft copy that spans the entire consumer journey. From snappy Tik Tok hooks and scroll‑stopping digital ads to retail displays and product packaging, you will help shape the voice of multi‑billion‑dollar brands. This is a fast‑paced role where your writing will immediately impact millions of households worldwide.
What You’ll DoCraft Multi‑Channel Copy: Write compelling, clear, and brand‑consistent copy across paid social (Tik Tok, Meta), email campaigns, DTC website pages, Amazon listings, retail signage, and product packaging.
Brainstorm with Art Partners: Collaborate daily with junior and mid‑level designers and art directors to conceptualize fresh, platform‑native creative ideas that solve real business challenges.
Translate Tech into Human: Take raw product data and engineering features from our R&D labs and translate them into benefit‑driven, consumer‑facing copy that makes people say, “I need that.”
Embrace an AI‑Native Workflow: Actively utilize LLMs (like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) to brainstorm angles, generate variations, summarize research, and accelerate your creative process.
Maintain Voice and Tone: Learn, protect, and evolve the unique brand voices within the Shark Ninja portfolio, ensuring a consistent tone across all touchpoints.
Own Your Work: Manage multiple fast‑turning projects simultaneously, taking feedback constructively and iterating quickly without losing your creative spark.
Qualifications1–3 Years of Copywriting
Experience:
Portfolio school graduates, agency interns, or junior in‑house writers are all welcome. Experience writing for consumer products, tech, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
A Punchy, Versatile Portfolio: Showcases strong conceptual thinking, short‑form storytelling, and a clear understanding of how copy changes depending on the platform (e.g., how an email headline differs from a Tik Tok hook).
Grammar Geek with a Human Touch: Flawless editing skills and attention to detail, paired with the ability to write conversationally rather than academically.
Curious and Tech‑Forward: Eager to learn new tools and systems. You don’t fear AI; you view it as a brainstorming partner that helps you write faster and smarter.
Thrives in Fast‑Paced Environments: Highly adaptable, proactive, and energized by tight deadlines. You love to test ideas, see what works, and quickly pivot.
