Location & Schedule

This is a part‑time 10 to 16 hour/week position with at least one 5‑hour day per week in Needham, MA. There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.

Role Overview

Motivated and detail‑oriented part‑time Corporate Communications Intern in Needham, MA. In this role, you'll help support how Shark Ninja communicates across internal and external channels. An exciting opportunity for a student with strong writing skills, a creative mindset, and an interest in corporate communications. As a part‑time Corporate Communications Intern, you'll gain hands‑on experience working cross‑functionally with internal stakeholders while contributing to impactful communication initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of campaigns and events in support of Shark Ninja’s culture moments and corporate brand initiatives
  • Maintain and update editorial calendars and contact lists to ensure coordination across communications channels
  • Manage and optimize corporate communications platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, digital signage) to maximize reach and engagement
  • Draft content for internal and external channels (e.g., newsletters, social posts, intranet stories, executive briefs, recaps, presentations, website)
  • Track and report on engagement metrics to measure effectiveness of communications efforts
  • Help coordinate logistics for communications activations, both in‑person and virtual
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in corporate communications
  • Support multimedia content creation (photos, videos, event recaps) to enhance storytelling
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Current student in an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s program
  • Must be able to work a part‑time 10 to 16 hour/week position with at least one 5‑hour day per week in Needham, MA
  • Has taken coursework in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Self‑starter who can manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Canva, Adobe, or social media tools is a plus
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay Range: $26 – $33 USD
