Test Engineer

The Test Engineer owns and manages testing for consumer products, ensuring performance, reliability, and consumer experience are validated through structured testing. This role is less focused on running tests directly and more about designing test strategies, coordinating execution, and driving results by working closely with technicians. You will define test plans, establish data collection methods, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations to product teams.

This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced consumer product environment.

• Own end-to-end testing activities for assigned products
• Work closely with and create testing schedules for technicians
• Develop detailed test plans (protocols, data, pass/fail criteria)
• Coordinate and oversee testing with US and China-based teams
• Define execution approach and guide technicians running tests
• Design test setups, fixtures, and identify automation opportunities
• Analyze results and deliver clear, actionable reports to stakeholders
• Manage testing timelines, resources, and continuous process improvements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience (CPG or similar hardware environments preferred)
• Experience with test planning, validation, or lab-based work
• Strong project management and multitasking skills
• Ability to clearly document and communicate technical work
• Basic understanding of data analysis/statistics
• Hands‑on, builder mindset with willingness to learn new tools/equipment
