Senior Mobile Software Engineer

Team: Software & Connected Systems

They are expanding our mobile engineering capability as part of a broader effort to build intelligent, connected consumer products. Their teams work at the intersection of mobile applications, cloud platforms, and embedded systems to create seamless digital experiences tied directly to physical devices.

In this role, you’ll help design and deliver mobile applications that connect users to their products, contribute to shared app platforms, and influence the evolution of a unified mobile ecosystem across multiple device types. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers across firmware, cloud, and hardware disciplines to bring features from concept to production, using modern tooling and AI-assisted development workflows.

• Build and support mobile applications for iOS and/or Android using native technologies such as Swift and Kotlin
• Develop shared functionality across platforms using cross-platform frameworks, including React Native
• Partner with cloud, embedded, and hardware teams to deliver complete connected-device experiences
• Design and implement mobile-to-cloud architectures that scale reliably for large consumer audiences
• Create automated and manual tests to ensure quality, stability, and performance
• Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize applications across a wide range of devices and operating environments
• Contribute within cross-disciplinary teams spanning embedded software through cloud services

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong hands‑on experience developing native iOS and/or Android applications
• Solid knowledge of modern mobile tooling and workflows (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio, version control, build systems, dependency managers)
• Experience collaborating across multiple engineering domains
• Familiarity with distributed systems and mobile‑to‑backend integration patterns
• A user‑first mindset and enthusiasm for building connected consumer products
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to work within a high‑performance engineering culture

• Experience with cross‑platform or systems‑level languages (e.g., Rust, C/C++)
• Familiarity with mobile state management, navigation frameworks, or structured APIs
• Background working with connected devices, IoT platforms, or companion apps
• Knowledge of wireless communication technologies such as Bluetooth LE or Wi‑Fi
• Experience in consumer electronics, smart home, or robotics environments
