The Project Accounting Intern will support the accounting and project management departments with monthly billings, cost allocation, sales and use tax administration, and profitability forecasting analysis. The Project Accounting Intern will report to the Senior Project Accountant.

• Allocate and post credit card receipts and vendor invoices, daily.
• Perform project profitability analysis, weekly.
• Perform sales and use tax best practice to applicable accounts payable process.
• Prepare periodic adjusting entries.
• Performs basic office functions to support the business and gain exposure in areas outside of accounting.
• Other duties that this position will be exposed to may include budgeting preparation and analysis, and construction project site visits.

• Ability to communicate effectively and present information clearly.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, high organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program at an accredited four-year college or university with a declared major in Accounting.
• Innovative mindset, high level of motivation, integrity and commitment that represents ALC culture.
